Sat, 1/30-

Went to the trail in 20-degree weather and did 4.25M.

8:01, 7:35, 7:17, 6:54, 1:38 (.25M)...31:25


Fri, 1/29-

Went to Y.

Did mile warm-up, then 3 x (mile + 3:00 lifting).

Went to Y. 

Did mile warm-up, then 2 x (mile + 3:00 lifting)

Machine on

Mon, 1/25/21- Went to Y. Did 3 x (mile + 3:00 lifting). 

Warmed up in 8:30. Other two miles were an easy 7:30.


Sun, 1/24/21-Went to the Y for some half-mile repeats on the treadmill. After a 8:00 mile warm up and 8 minutes of stretching, I popped on my racing flats. 

I managed 5 x (3:00 on treadmill setting 10.1 + 3:00 on one machine). Finished up with a .25M in 1:15. Machine on 12.5.


Sat, 1/23/21-waited too long. Forgot that wellness center at Y closes at 1:00. Took off. Didn't feel like running in cold (20-degrees) and wind.

Puny

 Sun, 1/17-

Went to trail. Solo 4.25M run in 31:45. (8:10, 7:45, 7:20, 6:55...1:35)

Sat, 1/16-

Went to the Y for some half-mile repeats on the treadmill. After a 8:30 mile warm up and 8 minutes of stretching, I popped on my racing flats. 

I managed 6 x (3:00 on treadmill setting 10.1 + 3:00 on one machine). Last half mile in 2:50.

Fri, 1/15-took off

Thurs, 1/14-Went to Y. Did 3 x (mile + 4:00 lifting). Miles were in 8:00, 7:30, 7:00.

Wed, 1/13--Went to Y. Did 3 x (mile + 4:00 lifting). Miles were in 8:00, 7:30, 7:00.

Tues, 1/12-Went to Mountainview. Did a puny run, so puny that I cannot recall the distance.

Mon, 1/11-took off

Sun, 1/10-Went to the trail. Had a decent run of 4.25M

Seemingly nothing

Sat, 1/9/21--

Went to the trail to run. First time running since last week. Leg was feeling better.

Started off very modestly: 8:55

Then...8:05

Then...7:35

Then...7:05

Then...finished last .25 in 1:45

4.25M in 33:25

Felt leg a bit towards the end, but seemingly nothing.

Fri, 1/10/21-

Took off 

Thurs, 1/7/21--

Went to Y. Vigorously walked for 4 min, lifted for 4 min, biked for 4  min. Repeated.

my calf was throbbing

Went to Y. Vigorously walked for 5 min, lifted for 5 min, biked for 4  min. Repeated.

Sun, 1/3/21

Went to Y. w/V Vigorously walked for 5 min, lifted for 5 min, biked for 4  min. Repeated.

Sat, 1/2/21-

Went to the trail with V for a run. By the time I reached the 1.5M mark, my calf was throbbing. Hobbled for much of the rest of the run. Completed the 4.25M run in 45:30.

Thurs, Dec 31, 2020

Went to Duke Island Park for a 5-mile run. Felt horrible from the start, with knees killing me and stiffness compromising my gait. Two miles in my right calf cramped up. I felt pretty bad.

Went to the Y with V for a workout. Leg felt better today.
