600m repeats on the treadmill

 Sat, 2/27

Went to the Y for some 600m repeats on the treadmill. After a 8:30 mile warm up and 8 minutes of stretching, I popped on my racing flats. 

I let the treadmill go until it reached .05M, which took 19-20 seconds. I ended at .42M, which was .37M of running.

I managed 6 x (1:58 on treadmill setting 11.1 + 3:00 rest). Last 600m in 1:48, with treadmill on 12.1.

With my back tight and sore and my hips as stiff as hell

With my back tight and sore and my hips as stiff as hell, I am hampered some. Shovel feet of snow, 15 inches here, 3 inches there, 4 inches here, over the past week doesn't help. I am miffed that both my snowblowers, one brand new, are out of commission.
